Urgent Appointments

The practice operates a triage system every day for patients telephoning with urgent medical problems which cannot wait until the next available pre-bookable GP appointment. The Reception Team will ask for details of your problem before passing this to a GP for review. The GP will assess and prioritise these requests and may telephone you back to discuss, arrange for you to be seen at the practice / elsewhere or ask a member of the team to ring you back with some advice.

Please call as early in the day as you are able.

Our phone lines are open from 08:00.

Cancelling an Appointment

If you no longer require your appointment please let us know as soon as possible, as we can always offer this to another patient (even if it’s on the same day).

You can cancel an appointment by filling in our online form.

Improved Access to GP Appointments

Our aim is to make it easier and more convenient for patients to see a GP by providing more appointments at certain surgeries across the Stroud area. These will be known as Improved Access Appointments. Patients can book to be seen regardless of which Surgery they are registered at. These appointments can only be offered to patients registered with one of the Stroud Improved Access Surgeries. The Stroud Improved Access Surgeries hosting these on the Improved Access Information page.
